Being a young adult means you can go through a lot of changes in a small time frame. It’s a period of trying new things and exploring who you are. This can leave young adults likely to feel overwhelmed and isolated which can lead to higher levels of poor mental health.
It will cover crisis plans, relapse prevention and other helpful tools, personal and professional points of contact, support networks, and possible alternatives to hospital admissions.
In this course, we will explore what mental health struggles can look like for young adults, how they can affect their lives, and what can be done to support the recovery of young adults.
